- The Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for MapXtreme and subscriptions to 5-digit Zip, Core Based Statistical Area (CBSA), and U.S. county maps for use in TradeStatsExpress (TSE). The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicat NAICS code assigned to this procurement is 511210. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not consitute a request for proposals; subission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. 1. Background The requirement is to obtain an annual maintenance and support license for MapXtreme and subscriptions to 5-digit Zip, Core Based Statistical Area (CBSA), and U.S. county maps for use in TradeStatsExpress (TSE). The contract includes one base year and 4 option years. 2. Objectives: MapXtreme maintenance and support and the additional map subscriptions are required to run the mapping feature in TSE. This contract will allow the mapping features of the TSE website to continue to run uninterrupted. 3. Scope: Contract will provide the government with current licenses for the software needed to run the mapping features in TSE. The deliverable products are two (2) of each of: • 6MTSUENWNMATSM3 - MapXtreme 2008 (.Net) Web Deployment, Maintenance and Support Silver - 1 year • 5-Digit Zip Code Subscription - 1 year • 3CBCUUSCN0000S507 - CBSA Subscription - 1 year • 3CBIUUSCN0000S100 - US County Boundary Subscription - 1 year The Contract includes a base year and 4 option years. 4. Tasks: 4.1 Licensing Provide current licenses for MapXtreme, 5-digit zip, CBSA and US County products. 4.2 Maintenance and Support Provide electronic updates to all products within 10 days of them being released by the developer. Government expects to have access to the most current updates at all times. 5. Delivery Services and updates are provided electronically upon award of contract, no physical products are delivered. 6. Security Considerations None. Vendor provides electronic licenses and updates, no access to ITA systems is required. Software updates will be sent through ITA OCIO to ensure compliance with current security standards. 7. Place of Performance: Updates will be provided electronically via e-mail. 8. Period of Performance: The period of performance requested is 7/20/2016- 7/19/2017, plus 4 option years. • Option Period 1 7/20/17 -7/19/18 • Option Period 2 7/20/18 - 7/19/19 • Option Period 3 7/20/19 - 7/19/20 • Option Period 4 7/20/20 - 7/19/21 BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT IS A SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS.
