Statement of Work Project Name: West Haven VA Medical Center Landscaping Improvements and area beautification Purpose: Improve high visibility facility landscaping presentation. Utilize high color, staggered bloom, shade / sun tolerant, soil pH appropriate flowers and shrubs to increase overall facility landscaping beauty and presentation. Utilize deciduous and evergreen shrubs strategically for increased off-seasonal color. Objective: 1.Establish appropriate delivery dates for perennials and shrubs to coincide with appropriate planting times. 2.Availability to be taken into account, vendor may substitute similar perennial / shrub species of equivalent value upon approval of WH VA point of contact. 3.Vendor shall provide appropriate delivery times to coincide with best seasonal planting for each item. Delivery time framework to be established with WH VA point of contact. 4.Vendor to provide delivery schedule; multiple proposed delivery schedules are acceptable 5.All planting labor completed by WH VA grounds staff. 6.Excluded: a.Any additional work. b.Connecticut state tax.
