- Description
- Request for Quote (RFQ) Synopsis: This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format at FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number W913E5-16-T-0018 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541380, which has a size standard of $15.0 million dollars. This requirement is being solicited using full and open competition. The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) has a requirement for data analytical lab services on the results of a large scale oil characterization and remediation project. Please reference the attached RFQ for the Performance Work Statement (PWS), as well as all applicable provisions and clauses. The Contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the tasks as described in the PWS. Technical To be considered technically acceptable, the Contractor's submission must include the following: 1. Proof of accreditation with the National Environmental Lab Accreditation Program; submittal of proof of accreditation meeting the standards of the Washington Department of Environmental Conservation is also encouraged, but not required. 2. An affirmative statement that the offeror is capable of achieving a standard turnaround time of 14 days or less from sample acquisition. The lab shall make appropriate arrangements for overnight shipping and receiving of the samples from Barrow, Alaska to the analytical lab 3. Provide all non-proprietary methods used to perform EPH and VPH analysis in accordance with EPA methods 3630 and 5035/5030, respectively. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The period of performance is intended to be 14 June 2016 - 14 September 2016.
