Description

This is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. The Amarillo VA Health Care System (AVAHCS), located at 3010 Amarillo Blvd. West, Amarillo, TX 79106, requires Radioactive Isotopes. The acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures or FAR Part 15 - Contracting by Negotiation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 325412 - Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing. Any firms who wish to identify their interests and capability to provide this item must provide proof of authorization from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission by notifying the Contract Specialist no later than 4:00 PM EST, 06/17/2016. Such notification must include any documentation that includes certifications and description of product that meets or exceeds the capabilities of the manufacturer. Notification shall be e-mailed or faxed to Jessica Roman, Contract Specialist, jessica.roman@va.gov, fax: 432-517-4586. Upon receipt of any such notifications, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with a sole source negotiation. Responses received will be evaluated, however; a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes.
