Description
On or about June 17, 2016 an Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued for repair and construction of the Berry Field Fuel Farm, located at the 118th Air Wing located at 240 Knapp Blvd, Nashville, TN 37217. The contract duration will be approximately 120 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) The solicitation will be a Total Small Business set aside. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 237120 with a small business size standard of $36,500,000.00 The estimated construction costs of this project will be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. A site visit will be held for the upcoming solicitation. Provisions in the solicitation documents will provide detailed information such as date, time, location, and points of contacts. Please do not submit requests for plans and specifications as they will be listed in the upcoming solicitation. Project Description: TNARNG has in its possession an existing fuel station that was decommissioned and is currently out of service. The tanks, pumps, and other appurtenances are still intact and TNARNG has designed a project to re-commission the system for re-fueling of equipment. Existing electrical infrastructure, including power and controls, was disconnected and removed from a building that was remodeled. It was cut off near the proposed location of a prefabricated building. There is currently no power to the fuel station and a control system does not currently exist. The original building will not power or control the fuel station and a new electrical service and control system will be required as part of this project. The bid opening date will be on or around July 20, 2016 with a pre-bid conference (site visit) scheduled to be on or around July 6, 2016 at a time and place to be announced in the solicitation. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (c) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states "By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees" applies to this project Interested offerors must be registered in SAM.
