Description
The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, Contracting Division, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract to procure 2 SETS calibration blocks and 1EACH test blocks, to be shipped to the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334519 (Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing) and the procurement will 100% small business set-aside. The contract line items (CLINs) are as follows: CLIN 0001: CALIBRATION BLOCK, 2 SETS Characteristics for Sizing Calibration Blocks: Used for calibration of shear and longitudinal transducers for the inspection of UT C&S. The Sizing Calibration Blocks consist of five blocks to a set. The material shall be HY-80 with a 1.250" wide and 12.000" long. The following is the height requirement and metal travel distance to the notch. Surface Finish: Scanning and Echo surfaces will be milled to a phonographic finish at 125 RA, block ends will be milled only (without phonographic finish). CLIN 0002: TEST BLOCK, 1 EACH Test Block Alloy: 1018 Steel, Nickel Plated Spec: IIW and ASTM E164 With optional Hardwood Case The solicitation number will be SPMYM1-16-Q-0072.
