Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source Requirement The Bedford VA, intends to negotiate a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source to Tyco Integrated Security for the software installation of PVC-D/SB2-SSA PIV Check Plus Desk SWO 2S TSP. This award is to commence on June 17, 2016 through August 17, 2016. Contract will not include FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. Tyco Integrated Systems is a large business that was awarded the national contract for physical access control systems by VA Central office and is the only company that can complete this requirement in accordance to the national contract GS07F8854D under Task Order # HHSP233201400175G initiated by VA central office. A firm fixed price contract for two months is anticipated and shall be awarded. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This is not a Request for Proposal. If other companies in New England can provide an equal service for the Bedford VA, vendors must submit their technical capabilities, to include, technical specifications of their product, past performance information, price and delivery time. This information will be reviewed by the Government's technical representatives for consideration for future requirements. Email statements are preferred. Statements are due no later than June 14th 2016. Phone inquiries will not be accepted. This is not a solicitation; it is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source requirement.
