This is a Sources Sought Notice for Commercial Items was conducted in accordance with the format of FAR subpart 12.6. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and technical capability of the following entities as registered in SAM.gov ( System for award Management).  8(a) Small Business  HUBZONE Small Business  Small Business  Veteran Owned Small Business  Women Owned Small Business Background The Department of laboratory Medicine serves as the clinical laboratory of the NIH Clinical Center, it provides Laboratory support for patient care and research protocols. The existing contract for service maintenance is very critical for patient care results for infectious diseases that may be spread to hospital personnel or other patients, the proprietary technology required for the approve services by FDA. The nature of harm that would be brought to NIH CC patients result in delayed diagnosis and treatment, Therefore, Having state -of-the-art equipment available has is an asset for the DLM as adequacy of the associated supplies and the purpose they serve. Method The NIH Clinical Center anticipates awarding a purchase order under the direction of commercial item procedures to one (1) organization that meets the overall qualifications needed to provide support services For service maintenance support for Film Assay Equipment for the purpose of patients care testing for managing infectious diseases. This testing may require that is not available in routine testing. In order to maintain quality of procedures, reliable equipment efficiency is critical in maintaining appropriate clinical care at the Clinical Center.
