The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been determined at this time; however, either an unrestricted competition or set-aside will be chosen depending on the responses to this market survey. Anticipated Dollar Range: Between $50,000 and $100,000 Introduction/Description: The responses to this market survey will be used for information purposes only. This is not a screening information request for proposals of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred associated in preparation or in response to this market survey. An abbreviated scope of work is provided below. The work includes, but is not limited to the following: ARTCC Buildings -. These specifications, together with the referenced specifications, standards, design data, and drawings specified in the contract documents, cover the requirements for all work associated with the transition work required to prepare the areas of the M-1 Rooms for major renovation under a separate contract. All areas of the M-1 spaces must be vacated for actual construction work to occur. This project moves all of the people in the M-1 area along with furniture, accessories, etc. to other areas of the ARTCC and puts all items that cannot be moved into the two (2) storage trailers for this project which are the FAST and IT Trailers. Infrastructure is included in the areas where personnel will be relocated under this contract. This project will, specifically, move all personnel, furniture, accessories, etc. occupying the current M-1 Areas into several different rooms and spaces as shown by the project drawings. All items not moved into the identified spaces shall be moved for storage into the FAST and IT Trailers. Contractor shall provide necessary infrastructure in the relocated spaces such that personnel will have sufficient power, LAN, and telco. Contractor shall disassemble and reassemble various furniture components such that all new layouts are met. Work includes: 1. Relocating all personnel in the M-1 areas to new locations as identified by the project drawings and specs. Contractor shall not move any furniture or accessories to its new location by rolling over the stairway threads. All items shall be carried or transported by the facility elevators. 2. Disassemble and reassemble various furniture components as required such that the drawing layouts are satisfied as far as functions which includes adequate power, LAN, and telco 3. Contractor shall install new power circuits to make up for power for the AW2 Columbia Room 243A. Contractor shall ensure that all NEC codes are met and establish power connection for each of the cubicles in Room 243A. Contractor shall connect each cubicle to each existing LAN lines and use the LAN switch which the FAA will install to make up for the 3 LAN line shortage. Contractor can wire the power and LAN to each cubicle connection which has a receptacle for power and LAN. Contractor shall provide to the FAA a detailed plan for running the power and LAN from its power source to its final location. 4. Contractor shall move all items in the existing FAST and IT trailer such that all areas can accommodate new furniture and accessories from the M-1 and other associated Room areas. 5. Contractor shall provide the FAA with 2 new 15 foot long by 6 ft. high accordion partitions on rollers that are self-standing and can be moved out of the way quickly for necessary FAA meetings and briefing. 6. Contractor shall ensure that each employee that is relocation has all of their functional requirements met. Any deviation from an employee s function requirement shall be corrected immediately. All work must be coordinated in order to maintain an operational facility. The total contract duration for completion of all work shall be 45 calendar days, excluding the following FAA Holiday Moratorium.
