Description
1. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15, on behalf of the Marion VA Medical Center in Marion, Illinois - serving Southern Illinois, Southern Indiana and Western Kentucky - intends to issue a solicitation for Community Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) Services to accept competitive offers for adult day health care services for the geographic area of Paducah, Kentucky area, including McCracken County, KY and Massac County, IL. The anticipated date of issue is on or about 1 July, 2016. The estimated closing date will be 15 days from issue date. 2. Services sought under the anticipated solicitation include: (a)Full range of ADHC services - i.Nursing Care ii.Social Work Services, e.g. case management iii.Assistance with Activities of Daily Living, e.g. bathing and hygiene iv.Activity Therapy, e.g. social group opportunities, recreation v.Nutrition (meals, snacks) vi.Transportation when authorized at VA expense (b)Records/Medications Management (c)Coordination of VA beneficiary needs with VA personnel and family 3. One (1) Basic Ordering Agreement award is anticipated to satisfy the VA Medical Center's ADHC requirements.
