- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-88 (effective 5/16/2016). It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions can be found at https://www.acquisition.gov/?q=/browse/far/52. Quotations are being requested via this notice only. A written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is P16PS01429, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industrial Classifications System (NAICS) code is 112920 and the size standard is $750,000 in annual gross receipts for the past three years. This acquisition is set aside for Small Business concerns in accordance with FAR Subpart 19.502-2., and will result in a firm fixed price contract to a single vendor determined to be responsive and responsible. The Government will consider past performance in determining responsibility. ATTACHMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. Once at the FedConnect home page, click "Search Public Opportunities Only." Next screen, under Search Criteria, change the drop-down menu selection to read "Reference Number," then type in solicitation number P16PS01429 and click "search." Next screen, click the underlined text that is the title of the solicitation, shown as "(YOSE) Horse for Backcountry Trails Support Operations." Next screen is the overview screen. On the right-hand side, is the list of documents posted, showing the SF-18 solicitation form and all attachments. The attachments must be opened individually, and can be downloaded and saved or printed. Besides the SF-18 solicitation form, there are two attachments: Attachment no. 1 (this combined synopsis/solicitation) and Attachment no. 2 (Scope of Work). The Standard Form 18 together with the two attachments make a complete solicitation package. DESCRIPTION. The National Park Service, Yosemite National Park, has a requirement for a vendor to supply and deliver five horses to be used in backcountry trails support operations. QUOTES ARE DUE AT 4:00PM PACIFIC TIME (PT) ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 29, 2016. Questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing via email (phone or fax questions will not be accepted).
