- Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) The 509 th BW at Whiteman AFB, Missouri, is seeking potential sources to provide Packing and Crating services. The services will include all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified herein as Government-furnished, for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense personnel for shipment and/or storage and related servises. The information sought herein is for planning purposes only. 1. 509 CONS/LGCB is seeking industry feedback on the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Additionally, the Government is seeking any feedback to learn whether or not a small business is able to perform services as one requirement. 2. 509 CONS/LGCB requests interested, qualified sources to respond to this Request for Information (RFI). Please be advised this is a request for information by the Government, and does not obligate the Government to reimberse any cost associated with preparation and/or submission of this information. Consequently, the Government will not reimburse any vendors for the cost incurred to provide information for this effort. The RFI does not guarantee the Government will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) or award a contract for supplies or services. Instructions for submittals are provided below. 3. Failure to respond to the RFI does not preclude proposal submittal should a formal acquisition be announced. Response from small businesses and small disadvantaged business firms are higly encouraged. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small business, a socailly and/or economically disadvantaged business, 8(a) firm, historically black college, and/or minority institution. 4. Respondents should provide a non-proprietary response to the RFI if possible. If proprietary material is deemed essential, all proprietary information should be clearly marked and associated restrictions on Government use identified. All responses must be signed and submitted by email in Microsoft Word format. The Government may not accept company literature or marketing materials. Responses are limited to twenty-five (25) pages in length, and font size should not be smaller than 12 pt font. The Government will not consider pages in excess of this limitation. 5. 509 CONS/LGCB requests respondents deliver one (1) electronic copy no later than 1400 CST, 27 Jun 2016.
