Description

SYNOPSIS: The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Center has a requirement to REPLACE Medical Vacuum System. A Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract award is anticipated. A certified Small Business contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and construction services as required by the solicitation request and statement of work. Work includes but is not limited to demolition, general construction, utility systems, plumbing and mechanical work, pneumatics, electrical, commissioning / testing, and other elements / items as required. Work will be performed in/around an operational hospital environment, which will remain operational during the project duration. Solicitation documents will be available electronically on/about June 15, 2016 at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders will search for solicitation VA262-16-Q-0918 to access solicitation documents and any Amendments. BIDDERS ARE ADVISED TO CHECK THE SITE FREQUENTLY AS THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING AMENDMENTS. Only electronic email quotes will be accepted. Only one (1) organized Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 10:00AM PST at 351 East Temple Street, Los Angeles CA, P2 Boiler Plant, Room P212. NAICS: 811310; Small Business Size Standard: $7.5 Million; Project Magnitude: Between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Contract Period of Performance will be 90 Calendar Days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must be registered and current with the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov). The single source of entry for all outgoing documentation / information pertaining to this acquisition will be http://www.fbo.gov. Telephone, email, and fax requests for a solicitation package / information will not be accepted. All interested bidders (prime contractors & subcontractors) can register at www.fedbizopps.gov so that others will know of your interest in participating in this procurement. A Bidder's List will not be prepared nor distributed by the Contracting Officer, as it is the Bidder's responsibility to register at the FedBizOpps website.
