- Position Descriptions A market survey is being conducted to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set this future project aside for them. If your firm is a Small Business, certified HUBZone, 8A, Woman-Owned Small Business or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business and you are interested in this project please respond appropriately. The proposed project is for CMS Contractors with key disciplines in various positions. Position descriptions for the key disciplines: The descriptions for the Administrative, Project Engineer, Contract Surveillance, Engineering Technician, Construction Representative, Civil Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Environmental Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, and Cost Estimator, Geologist, and Engineering Tech (Materials) positions are listed in the attachment. All positions shall have a minimum of two years' experience unless stated otherwise. Multiple disciplines may be required for single projects. Projects may be occurring simultaneously, requiring staff at multiple locations. Project locations will be nationwide, in support of the Louisville District mission. All interested Small Businesses, certified HUBZONE, 8A, Woman-Owned Small Businesses or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractors should respond to this survey by email Date 27 June 2016 by 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. Responses should include: 1. Identification and verification of the company's small business status. 2. Contractor's DUNs Number(s) and CAGE Code(s). 3. A Capability Statement, the company's core competencies. This is NOT everything a firm is able to do, but the core expertise of a firm. 4. Descriptions of Experience - Interested firms must provide documentation regarding their capacity to provide each of the key disciplines identified above. For any key disciplines listed they must have a description of how those roles were utilized on completed projects. Contractors must include the name, title, project role, e-mail address, and telephone number of at least two references for a completed contract using the firm's services. NOTE: Total submittal package shall be no longer than 3 pages. Please only include a narrative of the requested information; additional information will not be reviewed. This is NOT a Request for Proposal and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
