- PRE-SOLICITATION - SYNOPSIS The Bureau of Reclamation, Denver Office, has a requirement to conduct an investigation to better characterize foundation conditions at a potential embankment dam site on the Bumping River, near Goose Prairie, WA. As part of these investigations, Reclamation is conducting borehole drilling and logging at a borehole site approximately 1.5 miles upstream of Goose Prairie near Bumping Lake Road. This solicitation will outline requirements for contract borehole geophysical logging including caliper, deviation, gamma-gamma, and neutron logs. This requirement will be 100% set aside for small business participation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541360 - Geophysical Surveying and Mapping Services and the Small Business Size Standard is $15 Million. The magnitude of this construction project is estimated to be between $100,000.00 and $150,000.00. The solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation will be available through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) (www.fedbizopps.gov) website. The extent of the work will be described in the solicitation. As a result of this Pre-solicitation notice, the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, anticipates releasing the Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 18 July 2016 on fedbizops.gov. The due date for receipt of proposals will be specified in the RFP. This requirement will be solicited and awarded using the method outlined in FAR Parts 12 and 13. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract. The contract period of performance is anticipated to begin on or about to be determined, with an anticipated completion date before to be determined. All dates in this notice are estimates and are subject to change. No further information will be available before the solicitation is posted. Offerors are required to have an active record in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for contract award. Offerors may register on SAM at https://www.sam.gov.
