Description

SOLICITATION: VA247-16-Q-0684 *HANDHELD INDUCTION CAP SEALER* I.NOTICE TYPE: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation II.This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for a Handheld Induction Cap Sealer (used to hermetically seal drug vials) for the Birmingham VA Medical Center. See attached solicitation document for full requirement details. III.The COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION is issued as an Open Market Competitive request for quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing and the size standard is 500 employees. IV.Quotes shall be for NEW EQUIPMENT ONLY; no remanufactured or "gray market" items. All Equipment must be covered by manufacturer warranty. V.This requirement consists of the following items: CLINDESCRIPTIONQTYUNIT 0001Handheld Induction Cap Sealer1EA 0002Shipping1EA VI.EVALUATION FACTORS: The Government anticipates awarding a single award contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable quote that is fair and reasonable and conforms to all solicitation requirements. Preference shall be given to small business offerors in accordance with FAR 6.203(a) in that when a large business and a small business have essentially the same bottom-line price, preference will be given to the small business. VII.QUOTE SUBMISSION: Acceptable quote submission is each CLIN listed separately with individual pricing on standard company letterhead. Include any requisite supporting documentation identified in this solicitation with your quote. Quotes must be good for 30 days after close of solicitation. Quotes shall be submitted electronically to Contract Specialist Corey Webb at corey.webb2@va.gov no later than the ending date/time of solicitation and must include solicitation number "VA247-15-Q-0638" in the subject line of the email.
