Description

The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Office, intends to solicit on 100% small business set-aside basis, in support of the United States Naval Academy (USNA), Annapolis, MD, a requirement for mess attendant services for the Midshipmen Food Service Division at the USNA. This work involves providing the managerial, administrative, supervisory, direct, and overhead personnel to perform wardroom dining room services and non-food preparation catering support at the United States Naval Academy (Midshipmen Food Service Division), Annapolis, Maryland. These services will be provided for approximately 4,500 midshipmen, plus supporting staff and approved guests. The Midshipmen Food Service Division serves over 12,000 meals daily on average. The Navy intends to solicit for a Firm-Fixed-Price type contract for a base period of one (1) year, with (4) four, 12-month option periods. The anticipated contract award effective date is 29 MAR 2017. Offerors shall be required to submit both price and non-price proposals. The solicitation will consider the offeror ™s non-price proposal more important than the offeror ™s price proposal. This procurement will be a follow-on to contract N00189-16-C-Z024 with Rice Services, Inc. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 722310, and the size standard is $38.5M. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The solicitation will be made available electronically, upon its release, at www.neco.navy.mil. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the above mentioned website for posting of the solicitation and any amendments thereto. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Government. The solicitation response date is tentative and subject to change. The closing date of the Request For Proposals (RFP) will be established in the RFP. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award.
