- THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This is a market research tool (FAR Part 10) being used to determine the potential firms capable of providing the supplies/services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Quote. Feedback is encouraged and appreciated. The 413th Contracting Support Brigade, Regional Contracting Office Fort Wainwright Alaska, is seeking information on sources to provide all labor, supervision, management, and equipment for Command Maintenance and Sustainment Instruction, Inspection, and Augmentation Services in support of U.S. Army units on Fort Wainwright and Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, Alaska. The performance of the services requested will vary from providing instructors for current Army requirements, to providing command assistance inspections in multiple areas as outlined by appropriate Department of Defense and U.S. Army regulations. See below for a brief outline of possible services to be provided by the contractor. Item Description QTY 1 Logistics/Sustainment Team: Assistance in training development and instruction, formal and informal evaluations of logistic performance to include Supply Support Activity and Supply room operations. 2 Property Book/Manager Augmenter(s): must be familiar with current Army property accountability systems and processes to provide basic classroom instruction in accordance with regulatory guidance for supply management at the S4 level. 3 New Equipment Fielding & Training Team: Preparing, reviewing, providing recommendations on and/or staffing documentation including mission support plans (MSPs), Material Fielding Agreements (MFAs), schedules, distribution lists, etc. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code contemplated for this service is 541614, Process, Physical Distribution, and Logistics Consulting Services, with a size standard of $15M, however respondents may identify other potential NAICS codes and the reasoning to support the recommendation. This notice is not designed to discourage competition from any business interested in this requirement. Since the current capabilities must be confirmed, all eligible large and small businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government is not obligated and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this Sources Sought notice. Respondents WILL NOT be notified of the results of this sources sought. If and when a solicitation is issued it will be posted on www.fbo.gov. It is the respondent's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any synopsis or solicitation. INFORMATION REQUESTED TO BE SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT: It is requested that interested businesses submit the following information: 1) Information regarding the contractor's capability to provide the required services (no more than 5 pages) which best demonstrates the company's experience in meeting the above requirement; 2) Company size in relation to the applicable North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 541614, size standard $15M; 3) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code; 4) The socioeconomic status of the company, i.e., small business concern, 8(a) business, HUB Zone small business, small disadvantaged business, woman-owned small business, veteran owned small business, or Service disabled veteran-owned small business; 5) Comments/questions concerning this sources sought notice; and 6) Point of Contact information to include name, email address and telephone numbers. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION, and/or multiple awards MAY be made. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
