IMPORTANT NOTE -- ATTENTION PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS: - Reference: The Solicitation Document at Page 14 of 38, wherein the following Clause is set forth: FAR Clause 52.236-27 SITE VISIT (CONSTRUCTION) (FEB 1995) The USACE- Chicago District will be hosting a PRE-BID MEETING with a Site Visit to follow. See the below details:  PRE-BID MEETING Date: Thursday, June 16, 2016 Time: 10:00 a.m. CST. Where: Gary Sanitary District, 3600 West 3rd Ave, Gary, IN 46406 At the pre‐bid meeting, Government representatives will highlight specific contract requirements. The objective is to provide an information exchange between potential bidders and the Government to avoid the possibility of misinterpretation of the contract requirements. The Corps of Engineers strongly encourages all potential bidders to attend the pre‐bid meeting and, in the interest of making the meeting more meaningful, prospective bidders are urged to present any written questions concerning the project bid documents, bidding, and construction requirements or other related matters prior to the pre‐bid meeting.
