- See Detail listing of solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 in conjunction with 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is SPMYM1-16-Q-0082 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-88. This notice incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-88 effective 16 May 2016 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) DPN 20160325 edition and Defense Logistics Acquisition Directive (DLAD) Current to Revision 5 and PROCLTR 2016-06. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2016-06-24 09:00 AM Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be Portsmouth, Virginia 23709. The DLA Maritime Norfolk, Contracting Division, Portsmouth, Virginia requires the following items, 1. LI 001: Manufacture and certify Virginia Class Weapons Cradle Weight Test Assembly. References: a) NAVSEA DWG 5032448 Rev H Contractor Responsibilities: (Contractor shall use the specified revisions of technical documents. Arbitrary use of the latest revision available is not allowed) Contractor shall provide the following services: 1. Fabricate Assembly 570 of Reference A. Combine parts into applicable assemblies as listed. All general notes of Reference A apply. 2. Inspect and test in accordance with general notes of Reference A 3. Provide NNSY with written records of paragraph 2 when requested. 4. Except as otherwise specified, Contractor to provide all tools and materials necessary to support fabrication and testing. 5. Registration information can be found at www.sam.gov. ALL REGISTRATION MUST BE "ACTIVE" AT TIME OF AWARD. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. Award will be based on the Lowest-Price-Technically Acceptable quote. Shipping must be free on board (FOB) destination CONUS (Continental U.S.), which means that the seller must deliver the goods on its conveyance at the destination specified by the buyer, and the seller is responsible for the cost of shipping and risk of loss prior to actual delivery at the specified destination.
