Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 4, on behalf of the Lebanon, PA VA Medical Center, anticipates the award of a Fixed Price Service contract for courier services. These services are being acquired in accordance with FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items. Please see the attached solicitation VA244-16-Q-1177 for additional information regarding this requirement. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) participation only. It is mandatory that SDVOSB offerors be certified on the WEB site https://www. Vip.VetBiz.gov. Responses received from non-certified offerors will not be considered for award. The government anticipates awarding a contract for a base period of eight (8) months with up to four (4) optional year periods. Award will be by Best Value trade-off, considering price, technical capabilities and past performance. Please see the attached solicitation for a Statement of Work (SOW), terms and conditions. Offers shall be submitted in accordance with the solicitation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 492110 - Couriers and Express Delivery Services, which has a size standard of 1,500 employees. Information and solicitation documents for this solicitation will be posted on the WEB site FedBizOpps at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for posting of the solicitation package, addenda to the solicitation and any other pertinent information.
