- Description
- Clear all levees locations (Approximately 5,620 LF/ 2 acres) per attached Levee Restoration map to 15 from toe of levee. Completely clear (including stump grinding all trees) identified areas by removing trees, vegetation, etc. Install straw on all areas to keep from any run off from occurring. At completion; apply approved fertilizer in all cleared areas to promote faster grass growth. Finished areas will be completely clean and able to be mowed with a finishing mower without any issues at project completion. Cut down and completely remove by stump grinding 30 identified/tagged dead trees (20 each up to 24 and 10 each up to 36 in diameter) around the installation. Install sod after tree removal and stump grinding has been completed. Areas will be clean, level, and debris free at completion. List and location will be given during pre-con. Contractor will drive around with government representative to ensure exact trees are cut down. Cut and clean approximately 4500 LF of drainage ditches around the installation at various locations (approximately 30 wide x 1 deep). Existing drainage ditches should be properly cut, clean, graded, and smooth at project completion to ensure proper flow of our drainage system in each area work is performed. All excess dirt/debris will be removed and all areas are clean, level, and sodded (new sod to match existing grass in area) at completion. Any tracks left from heavy equipment will be repaired/sodded as required for final appearance. See attached drainage base map with exact locations and approximate distances/measurements.
