Description

The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) will shortly issue a requirement for Janitorial Services for the following cemetery: Fort Logan National Cemetery 4400 W. Kenyon Avenue Denver, CO 80235 This requirement will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns. The respective NAICS Code is: 561720, Size Standard is $18M, or as subsequently revised prior to award. The pending requirement will be for cemetery custodial services at the Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado and hereafter referred to as "Fort Logan" or "Cemetery." The overall responsibility of the Contractor is to plan, coordinate, organize, manage, and perform the activities of "custodial services", which are required to maintain sanitation and an aesthetic appearance of the Cemetery's Administration Office Building and Maintenance Building (East side); and Public Information Building (West side). The total area to be serviced is approximately 6,527 square feet. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, supervision, professional expertise, equipment, tools, materials (with the exception of toilet tissue, paper towels, hand soap and plastic liners for trash cans) services, and quality control necessary to ensure that non-personal custodial services are performed at the Cemetery, in a manner that will maintain a satisfactory facility condition and present a clean, neat and professional appearance. The period of performance for this pending service requirement will be for a 12 month base period, and four, follow-on option periods (12 months each). The overall requirement will be for five years should the Government elect to exercise all option periods. The Government envisions award of a firm-fixed price contract award. Evaluation criteria and offeror submission requirements will be identified in the subsequently issued Request for Proposal that will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov on or about June 24, 2016.
