- Please submit no more than three (3) past project forms for armed protective security officer (PSO) project/contract that the respondent contractor has performed within the past three (3) years, including current projects/contracts The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Procurement Operations (OPO), Federal Protective Service (FPS) Acquisition Division, has a requirement for armed protective security officer (PSO) services covering multiple sites in Suitland, Seabrook, and Camp Springs, Maryland. This requirement consists of approximately 180,000 annual hours of armed PSO services. This requirement will be eventually solicited as a commercial items service acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 procedures on a best value basis. This notice is being issued to identify the general capabilities of Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and Women-Owned Small Business concerns that are interested in providing armed PSO services to the Federal Protective Service for this requirement and are licensed in the State of Maryland to provide this type of service. This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, or Request for Quotations. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responses do not affect a potential offeror's ability to respond to any future synopsis/solicitation. The Government will not provide reimbursement for any information that may be submitted in response to this notice. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice. Respondents to this notice should provide the following information: 1) Company name and address; a point of contact with phone number and email address; and Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number; 2) Small business status, including status as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and Women-Owned Small Business for NAICS Code 561612; 3) Confirmation that the respondent contractor is registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) and has completed the relevant representations and certifications within the SAM; 4) The highest security clearance (e.g. Secret, Top Secret) currently possessed by the respondent contractor; 5) A copy of the attached past project form ("Attachment B") for each armed protective security officer (PSO) project/contract that the respondent contractor has performed within the past three (3) years, including current projects/contracts. Please submit no more than three (3) past project forms.
