- Draft Performance Work Request (PWS) for Municipal Solid Waste Collection and Disposal DESCRIPTION: This Sources Sought notice is issued by the 18 th Contracting Squadron, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. This notice is for information and planning purposes only. There is no solicitation available at this time. This is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This Sources Sought is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for any information submitted in response. Respondents will not be notified of the results of any government assessments. No awards will be issued as a result of this Sources Sought. The 18 TH Contracting Squadron does not intend to award a contract on the basis os responses nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted. As a result of this Sources Sought, the 18 th Contracting Squadron may issue a RFQ or RFP. In the event an RFQ or RFP is issued, no basis for claims against 18 TH Contracting Squadron shall arise as a result of a response to this Sources Sought or the 18 th Contracting Squadron's use of such information as either part of our evaluation process or in developing specifications for any subsequent requirement. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to identify qualified businesses that are interested in and capable of performing the work described herein. SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform Municipal Solid Waste collection, transportation, disposal, and any necessary delivery at Kadena Firearm Range. The location of this service will be on Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. Please see attached draft performatnce Work Statement (PWS) for further details.
