Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 intends to issue a firm-fixed price sole source contract to Aladdin Temp-Rite LLC, 250 E Main Street, Hendersonville, TN 37075-2521, to provide semi-annual full service preventative maintenance and repair on a Government owned Aladdin Cook/Chill System (Traulsen unit) located at South Texas Veterans Health Care System (Audie Murphy VA Hospital), 7400 Merton Minter Blvd, San Antonio, TX 78028, Nutrition and Food Service. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C.253 (c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for quote; however, all responsible sources may submit a quotation and technical capabilities, which, if received within three calendar days of publication of this notice, will be considered. All responses must be submitted to the Government point of contact at the email address shown below. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
