- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED SYNOPSIS: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the Federal Business Opportunities website to ensure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. The solicitation number AG-1A23-S-16-0031 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and is being conducted as a 100% small business set aside. The North American Classification System Code is 238210; Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76. This requirement will be awarded as a commercial item, fixed price purchase order under the procedures at FAR Parts 12 and 13. DESCRIPTION: The United States Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS) Big Flats Plant Materials Center located at 3266A State Route 352, Corning, New York 14830 has a requirement for two (2) new 25KW Natural Gas Emergency Standby Generators with two (2) Transfer Switches. This is a requirement for a fixed price purchase in which the work will consist of installing two (2) natural gas powered generator on two different location within the Plant Materials Center (PMC) so as to have a backup electric capability/service to multiple buildings in the event of an electrical power outrage at the Big Flats Plant Materials Center (PMC). Interested vendors can review the work site on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 between the hours of 10 A.M. and 12:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time (EST) Review of the work site is not mandatory, however, we highly recommend attending the site visit to understand the full scope of work needed. Interested vendors considering reviewing the work site must call or email Mike Fournier at office (315) 477-6532; or email at mike.fournier@ny.usda.gov and let him know that you will be attending the site visit or if you need directions to the site.
