Interventions will strengthen the credibility and legitimacy of the government and improve service delivery to the Afghan people. This activity will: 1) Strengthen Afghan non-governmental and governmental institutions in identifying vulnerabilities to corruption in the delivery of public services and developing corresponding recommendations to address these vulnerabilities. 2) Support select Afghan government institutions with technical and financial assistance to plan for and implement procedural reforms based on those recommendations. 3) Strengthen local CSOs capacity to test and monitor the effectiveness of those reforms and to advocate for their implementation where necessary.
