- This is a sources sought announcement solely for the purpose of conducting market research to assist the Virginia Army National Guard in determining the acquisition strategy and identifying potential sources. This announcement is for information and planning purposes and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. This announcement does not constitute a Request for Quote, Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid. Interested vendors will not be reimbursed for any costs associated with responding to this announcement. The NAICS Code is 314910, Textile Bag and Canvas Mills, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Vendors are encouraged to submit information relative to their potential of fulfilling one or more of the below requirements. Requirement 1: Modular designed tan colored shelter which is air inflatable, allows for multiple configurations and is constructed of fiber-reinforced elastomeric composites. The shelter shall have an integrated liner and include a pre-installed floor, a minimum of two tapered end walls with doors, stake kits and plates, vestibule assembly kit, open end boot, electrical wiring harnesses and an air distribution plenum. The shelter shall provide maximum obstacle-free operator workspace for command and control functions with multiple entry and exit paths. The minimum total useable area shall be 1,400SF. The shelter will be used with existing DRASH brand shelters; therefore, the shelter must be able to connect with the existing shelters, transported in existing DRASH TMSS-Large trailer and connect with existing TMSS Large environmental control unit (ECU) 33kW generator. Requirement 2: Canvas tent cover and UAV fabric maintenance door and hardware for an existing DRASH TMSS large system (J Series Shelter) which serves as an aircraft hanger. Both the tent cover and door shall be tan in color. Requirement 3: Replacement parts for existing large DRASH system. Replacement parts include tan shelter, 16 inch x 24 inch trailer drip berm, interior side door, exterior tan side door, interior JT boot, exterior JT boot, tan exterior single T-Plate, tan repair kit, 200 inch windline, floor, and base end wall. Requirement 4: Replacement parts for existing medium DRASH system. Replacement parts include but are not limited to tan cargo tarp, tan end cap, 18 inch red steel pin stake, tan repair kit, interior collar to end cap door, tan boot wall system. In the response identify your company name, point of contact to include name, position, telephone number and email address, business size and socio-economic status (i.e. Veteran-Owned Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, etc.). In addition, include in the response if the company is a manufacturer or reseller of the products to be provided. If the company is a reseller, list the name and business size of the manufacturer.
