- The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with Global Ground Support for the procurement of the following items: One Hitch Assembly, Rear - Part Number: 749-10065 that meets the replacement parts requirement listed in Technical Order 36A2-3-162-1 This requirement is conducted under FAR 13.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. Global Ground Support is the original manufacturer of the Flight Line Tow Tractor (FLTT) and the required rear hitch assembly part required to satisfy this acquisition. Technical Order 36A2-3-162-1 lists the required part number hitch as the only certified and approved part for use on the FLTT. Global Ground Support is a small business who does not utilize re-sellers or distributors for their equipment / parts / services based on proprietary design rights. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, to include an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability and authorization to provide the required hitch assembly. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond to this notice no later than Thursday, 21 June 2016, 12:00 PST to Breysi Stephens, 355th Contracting Squadron, 3180 S Craycroft Rd. Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, AZ 85707. Via E-mail at Breysi.Stephens@us.af.mil, by Phone (520) 228-3598 or Fax (520) 228-5462. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether it is viable to conduct a competitive procurement. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
