- SOURCES SOUGHT This is a sources sought announcement for market analysis to determine the availability of potential interested vendors. No awards will be made from this notice. No solicitation is available at this time. Therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a future acquisition. The 27th Special Operations Contracting Squadron located at Cannon Air Force, New Mexico, is seeking sources interested in a possible award to provide Predictive Force Plate Metric System for Cannon AFB, NM. If you are interested in providing these supplies to Cannon AFB, NM, please send an e-mail to kristin.pearce@us.af.mil and bethany.hamilton@us.af.mil providing the following information about your company: (1) Company Name and Cage Code Number; (2) Mailing Address; (3) Point of Contact to include phone/fax number and e-mail; (4) identify whether your company is small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, hubzone, 8(a) certified small business concern, service disabled veteran owned, or etc; (5) degree of experience in providing same or similar supplies. Please respond by e-mail no later than 1400 on 23 July 2016 at the above e-mail addresses with the above required information. Any capability information received will solely be used for the purpose of market research. All documents associated with this projected requirement will be posted in the FedBizOpps website, https://www.fbo.gov/ as they become available. This is not a Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid. There is no bid package, solicitation, specifications or drawings available with this announcement. It does not constitute a procurement commitment by the United States Air Force, implied or otherwise. No contract will be awarded from this notice. Responses are strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow-up information requests. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any improperly identified information. 1.)Technical Requirements--Force Plate (QTY 1) -Must be able to measure force output from jumping and other athletic movements. Plate must be sensitive enough to measure eccentric force, amortization phase, and concentric force. The force plate must include hardware to connect to a software program on a laptop computer. -Software (QTY 100 users) - Software must be able to record and compile force plate measurements. Software must be able to analyze measurements and provide exercise recommendations and identify injury risk based on reliable data from a predictive database of athletic users. The software must also provide an interface for human performance personnel to assign exercise programming and track human performance related metrics via any smartphone, tablet, or computer.
