BID BOND - INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) HSCGG1-16-B-P0FA028 REPLACE LOW SLOPE ROOFS MCALLISTER HALL PROJECT #7946769 WAGES - INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) HSCGG1-16-B-P0FA028 REPLACE LOW SLOPE ROOFS MCALLISTER HALL PROJECT #7946769 DRAWINGS - INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) HSCGG1-16-B-P0FA028 REPLACE LOW SLOPE ROOFS MCALLISTER HALL PROJECT #7946769 SPECIFICATIONS - INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) HSCGG1-16-B-P0FA028 REPLACE LOW SLOPE ROOFS MCALLISTER HALL PROJECT #7946769 SOLICITATION - INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) HSCGG1-16-B-P0FA028 REPLACE LOW SLOPE ROOFS MCALLISTER HALL PROJECT #7946769 HSCGG1-16-B-PFA028 ISSUE DATE: JUNE 16, 2016 Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary for a complete roof replacement of some low slope roof sections on McAllister Hall. The project includes removal and replacement of selected sections of low slope roof membranes, insulation, and flashing down to the structural deck. Patch and repair damaged roof decks where noted on drawings. Demolition and Abatement: Remove, salvage, and recycle metal copings, flashings, parapet wall panels, miscellaneous metal, etc. recycle as noted in documents and provide credit to the Government. Remove, salvage, and reinstall existing HVAC equipment where noted or required to install new roof materials. Some multi-ply built-up asphalt roof membranes and other materials where noted contain asbestos and shall be removed and properly disposed of by a licensed asbestos abatement contractor. Remove existing roof membranes and insulation down to the structural deck and replace with a new roofing system. Installation: Patch and repair structural decks as required for installation of new roof system. Provide and install membrane roof systems, including substrate board, vapor barrier, polyisocyanurate insulation, tapered insulation board, ½" cover board, 60 mil EPDM membrane, flashing, etc. Provide and install new lead coated copper flashing and copper fascia, edge flashing, drain bowls, and leaders as noted on drawings. Remove existing sealant at joint between the masonry wall and copper counter flashing. Remove and replace several courses of brick above and one course below flashing, new brick to match existing, replace wall flashing and counter flashing with 20 oz. copper flashing, add weeps to joints above flashing and point joints with lime mortar. The performance period is estimated to be 20 weeks or 140 days from issuance of Notice to Proceed with an estimated period of performance on site of 12 weeks or 84 days. The estimated value of the procurement is between $600,000.00 and $800,000.00. Solicitation packages will be available on 16 June 2016. The date set for receipt of bids is scheduled for 19 July 2016 at 2:00 pm. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is is 238160, Roofing Contractors, with a small business size standard of $15 million. This acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 14 and is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business concerns.
