- Description
- The Army Contracting Command-Warren, MI is seeking sources that can demonstrate the capability to RESET 46 High Mobility Engineer Excavator Type I's (HMEE I). The Government does not own the full technical data package for the HMEE I. This RESET program will include inspections, maintenance, and additional work required to return the vehicles to Fully Mission Capable (FMC), including reporting, retention and disposal of parts, and standard warranty. FMC is defined as vehicle and all components, Basic Issue Items (BII), subassemblies, and systems are fully functional and meet all performance requirements for which they were originally designed and originally configured when delivered to the Army (10/20 standard). Original configuration includes all post-delivery Modification Work Orders (MWOs) or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) approved technical upgrades and shall be included in the RESET effort to return the vehicle to FMC condition. HMEE Is processed through this RESET program include HMEE I with Add on Armor (AoA) and HMEE I without AoA. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of vendors who can support the requirement. Interested vendors shall provide a detailed summary of their capabilities, addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability.
