- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, South Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a solicitation to replace windows and install hurricane shutters within Biscayne National Park, Homestead, FL 33033 on or about Jun 23, 2016. SOLICITATION NUMBER: P16PS01661. Work will consist of (but not limited to) providing all labor, supervision, material, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and incidentals necessary to replace windows and install new hurricane shutters on three. A detailed Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 238350. The small business standard is $15M. The cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. SITE VISIT: Only (1) one site visit is scheduled for this action on Monday, Jul 18, 2016 at 10:30am (ET) in Homestead FL 33033. Details will be provided with the solicitation. Any questions must be received via email by 10:00am (ET) on Wednesday, Jul 20, 2016 to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the beginning of August 2016. Note: DBA prevailing wages for Dade County, FL will apply. The Government will award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered IAW FAR 13.106. The solicitation will be posted on FBO.gov (Federal Business Opportunities) on or about Thursday, Jun 23, 2016. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No phone calls please.
