- GSA is currently looking for an elevator contractor to perform services at the Anthony J. Celebrezze Federal Building 1240 E9th Street located in Cleveland Ohio for a 5 year period. The base period will be from March 1, 2017 to February 28, 2018, with option years from March 1, 2018 to February 28, 2019, March 1, 2019 to February 29, 2020, March 1, 2020 to February 28, 2021, March 1, 2021 to February 28, 2022. T he contractor will need to perform daily preventive maintenance, service repairs, inspection reports, entrapments, etc. This work cannot be performed in-house; therefore, GSA must procure these services. This contract will ensure the safety of the building elevator operations and maintain the building assets. The current contract expires on 2/28/2017. The elevator maintenance services are currently being performed by KONE Inc. The Anthony J. Celebrezze Federal Building has 34 floors with a combination of 28 low rise, mid rise and high rise elevators that include 1 shuttle 1 post office and 2 freight elevators. There are also 2 escalators. The prospective contractor must fully demonstrate the ability to perform/manage the elevator maintenance services at a commercial or government facility that complies with Federal, State and local regulations and laws and within the time frames required. This will be a performance-based contract. The successful offeror will adhere to the Quality Control Plan and be fully aware of the Government's Quality Assurance Plan. The successful offeror must conform to performance standards and capabilities as identified in the contract. After award is made, the contractor's performance will be monitored both on-site and through periodic performance evaluations using Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) database as required.
