Description

This is a Presolicitation Notice for Hotel Conference Services enterprise-wide which would consist of lodging, audio visual equipment, meeting space, meeting setup and meeting storage to support Department of Veterans Affairs' training and business events. This notice is not a solicitation or request for competitive quotations. No solicitation package is available at this time. The North American Industry Classification System code established for this requirement is 721110, Hotels (except casino Hotels) and Motels. The Request for Proposal VA119-14-R-0166 will be posted on FedBiz Opportunities and Offerors will be provided the information for submitting a response. In accordance with FAR 13, in order to ensure competition to the maximum extent practicable, the Contracting Officer will post the Request for Proposal to FedBiz Opportunities to maximize the possibility that at least three proposals are obtained. The hotel conference services shall be provided on an, "as needed" basis, which shall be determined by the issuance of an Individual Task Order against the basic BPA. A multiple-award BPA is contemplated under this acquisition. The anticipated award date is October 31, 2016. The place of performance may vary by location of the customer but will be identified on the Individual Task order.
