Shipping Instructions This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA5205-16-Q-B026; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-88 DPN 20160607 and AFAC 2016-0603. This acquisition will be full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332439 and the Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 5342. Please send any response NO LATER THAN 1400 on 28 Jun 2016 (JST) Please see the table below for the list of line items required under this solicitation. LINE ITEM DESCRIPTION QUANITY UNIT 0001 ISU-90 EO, 1-Door, Weapon Room Set-Up, M16 Requirement is for ISU-90EO or equal that are configured as weapon rooms being capable of storing three hundred (300) M16s. Containers must be certified for fixed wing transportation and external air (Helicopter Swing load) transportation. -Racks installed on side walls, center divider and rear walls to hold three hundred (300) M16s -Dehumidifier installed in container door - Twelve (12) Tie Down Rings installed on container floor, six (6) per side -Color: Green - Shipping included 5 Each 0002 ISU-90 EO, 1-Door, Weapon Room Set-Up, M4 Requirement is for ISU-90EO or equal that are configured as weapon rooms being capable of storing three hundred (300) M4s. Containers must be certified for fixed wing transportation and external air (Helicopter Swing load) transportation. -Racks installed on side walls, center divider and rear walls to hold (300) M4s -Dehumidifier installed in container door -Twelve (12) Tie Down Rings installed on container floor, six (6) per side -Color: Green M4 containers must also contain five (5) Hardigg Pistol Cases with Ratchet Straps, these cases should be configured specifically to be straped down to the containers floor. - Each case has capacity for eighteen (18) Pistols & fifty four (54) Clips - Shipping Included 1 Each Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. This is a Brand Name of Equal request. All vendors proposing alternate items shall provide with their quote adequate descriptions and specifications of alternate items to substantiate the "or equal" designation. SHIPPING ADDRESS/CONSOLIDATION POINT: Identify quoted shipping method. Complete attached shipping instructions form. Annotate Shippings EVALUATION CRITERIA: Evaluation of quotations will be completed in accordance with FAR 13.106-2. The Government will award the contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and represents the best value to the Government. Best value is determined as the lowest price, technically acceptable offer. Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA): The government shall evaluate the offeror's proposal against the requirement to determine whether the proposal is acceptable or unacceptable, using the ratings and descriptions outlined in table below. Technical Acceptable/Unacceptable Rating Method Adjectival Rating Description Acceptable Proposal meets the requirements of the solicitation.
