- SINGLE SOURCE ANNOUNCEMENT 1. Introduction/Statement of Intent The FAA intends to issue a single source acquisition to McKinsey & Company, 1200 19th St NW, STE 1100, Washington D.C. 2. Description of Supplies/Services This acquisition will facilitate consulting services in support of the AJV Organizational Health and Operational performance Transformation. The contractor must design and identify the future state of AJV. The services support organization-wide strategic initiatives which will have cascading effects across AJV, Directorate-specific initiatives (e.g. standardization at Service Centers), strategic priorities, optimized efficiency, and coordination in operations. The results must include flexibilities to address changing customer needs, and long term perspectives on talent management and succession planning. 3. Total Estimated Value and Period of Performance The acquisition is estimated to be $ 961,489.76 for the delivery of services beginning July 8, 2016 through August 31, 2016. 4. Authority This acquisition will be issued IAW AMS 3.2.2.4 Single Source, only source available to satisfy the requirement in the time required. 5. Reasons for Single Source It is in the government ™s best interest to use a single source acquisition strategy to ensure standardization of services required to complete the deliverable at the scheduled time. The consulting services required to support AJV ™s successful execution of Transformation Initiatives. AJV must have a clear AJV-wide vision and mission in line with the ATO and FAA. McKinsey & Co. has already conducted research to accomplish the organizational health and operational performance diagnosis. The time, expertise and knowledge transfer would impact FAA cost and schedule should another source be engaged at this time. 6.
