Description

508 Solicitation Language Description: The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source" based on the software being developed by Ansys, Inc. and due this new HFSS being the replacement for the currently used HFSS software. This procurement provides compatibility and interchangeability to the existing 419 ARL legacy HFSS models developed since 2007. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with ANSYS, Inc. 2600 ANSYS Drive, Canonsburg, PA 15317, for High Frequency Electromagnetic Field Simulation (HFSS) Software This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
