Description
National Security Technologies (NSTec) is the Prime Contractor to the U. S. Department of Energy (DOE). NSTec is seeking sources who offer a facility that is Tier IV Gold Fault certified by the Uptime Institute to house a Data Center. NSTec is looking to lease this facility over a 5-10 year period of time. Interested sources shall provide a capability statement along with proof they are a TIER IV GOLD FAULT FACILITY AS CERTIFIEC BY THE UPTIME INSTITUTE. The Data Center shall meet the following minimum specifications: 1. Must be designated a Tier IV Gold Fault Tolerant facility as certified by the Uptime Institute. (https://uptimeinstitute.com) 2. Must be designated as part of the National Critical Infrastructure. 3. Must be willing to build an area to ICS 705 Standards. a. Approximately 1080 square feet, surrounded by ICS705 Standard walls b. Facility must be 99.999% uptime/reliability 4. Must provide power to the space according to the procurer's power designation with reliability approaching 100%. 5. Must be willing to provide consistent and sufficient cooling to the procurer's space with reliability approaching 100% 6. Must use and provide power derived from at or near 100% renewable energy sources. 7. Must be physically guarded by onsite personnel 24 x 7 x 365. Guards must control access: a. To the external perimeters of the property b. To the entrance into the building c. Once inside, guard controlled access to data center floor d. Records of all visitors to the data center floor must be maintained by the data center staff. 8. Location must be within a two (2 ) hour drive of Las Vegas, Nevada. 9. Location shall be in an area where lodging and accommodations are readily available. 10. Must have the capability to receive computing equipment maintain a chain of custody and to store that equipment securely in a private location until such time that it is deployed on the data center floor. 11. Must have monitored parking available (24 X 7 X 365). Parking may be shared with other customers and/or employees. 12. Must allow for remote monitoring of the procured space. 13. Must allow personnel to be onsite within the data center specifically in the procured space during any national emergency or national event where DOE personnel have been activated.
