- 06/20/2016 - This presolicitation notice is for the Moon Lake Boat Ramp project located on the Ashley National Forest in Utah. The project consists of constructing a concrete boat ramp and a parking area. The concrete boat ramp will be cast-in-place with cut-off walls. The construction of the parking area will include earthwork, compaction, final site grading, and the installation of barrier rocks. Optional work that may be awarded includes all work described above associated with: Option A: Consists of constructing an asphalt surface parking area with aggregate base, including line striping of the parking stalls. This work includes furnishing, placing, hauling, shaping, and compacting the asphalt and aggregate materials. Option B: Consists of constructing an aggregate surface parking area. This work includes furnishing, hauling, placing, shaping, and compacting the aggregate material. Option C: Consists of lengthening the concrete boat ramp. This includes furnishing aggregate base material, concrete, rip rap, geotextile material and all other materials needed to lengthen the concrete boat ramp The work includes placing, hauling, shaping and compacting. Option D: Consists of hauling, placing, shaping, and compacting select borrow material. This project is located on the Roosevelt Ranger District of the Ashley National Forest, Duchesne County, Utah, in Section 13, T2N, R6W, in the Uintah Meridian. It is located approximately 35 miles north west of Duchesne Utah. The estimated date for publicizing the solicitation package in full is July 6, 2016. If the solicitation package if posted on this date, the estimated dates for quotes to be due will be August 8, 2016.
