- PROJECT LOCATION: U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Region 3, Jordan River National Fish Hatchery, Elmira, Michigan, Antrim County ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a size standard of $36.5 million. SITE VISIT: Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Site visit details will be provided when the full solicitation package is available. The Solicitation Package will be available via electronic commerce on www.fbo.gov and www.fedconnect.net on or about June 20, 2016 with a Bid Opening occurring on or about July 20, 2016. The Solicitation Package will include the following: An itemized Bid Schedule, Clauses, Notice to Offerors, Specifications, Drawings, Pre-Con Safety Checklist, Prevailing Wage Determination and Bid Bond Form. PROJECT CONSISTS OF: Whitefish Rearing Facility Infill - Provide all labor material and equipment to utilize and build out the existing steel framed raceway building which has insulated structural precast foundation wall panels and an integrated Ceco metal building system. The new interior infill wall construction will utilize insulated metal panels, CMU walls, fiberglass doors, coiling doors, and structural steel framing/decking. Site work consists of exterior and interior earthwork including grading and trenching. Concrete work consists of floor slabs and concrete trenches. Mechanical work consists of in-ground utility piping including sanitary waste, potable water and aquatics piping. Electrical work consists of all related power requirements for rearing equipment HVAC controls, backup generator, and associated panels and switches for a generator with a transfer switch, control, and accessories.
