- This notice is posted IAW Far 19.804.2. This project proposal is limited to qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms in the Missouri and Kansas areas. Solicitation: VA255-16-R-0492, Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price, NAICS: 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, Business size is $36.5M, Title-Description of Requirement: PN 589-CA3-472 - Construct OEF/OIF Addition. This contractor will construct a New Medical Clinic at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, located at 4801 Linwood Boulevard in Kansas City Missouri 64128. The new clinic will constitute our New Operation Enduring Freedom /Operation Iraqi Freedom Service Center. It will add 10,000 square feet and renovate an additional 9,024 square feet in existing buildings at the medical center in Kansas City, MO. The work includes construction of a new clinic using existing space and building out from the building to encompass additional space. New space will consist of 2,000 square feet of support and infrastructure space, housing Building Services Infrastructure such as Electrical, Environmental Management, and utility closets, lobby space and restrooms. 2,000 square feet will be devoted to Ancillary/Diagnostics with space for Pharmacy, Phlebotomy, and Pathology. Mental Health will occupy 1,000 square feet providing outpatient screening and counseling services. The remainder of the new space (5,000 square feet) will be dedicated to Specialty Care providing Clinical Exam rooms and patient waiting areas. Completion time from NTP is 728 calendar days. The facility location: VISN 15/ Kansas City VAMC 4801 Linwood Blvd Kansas City Mo 64128. The estimated cost magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. All interested vendors are encouraged to attend the site visit scheduled for Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 1:00 pm CST at the KC VAMC facility Building 6, Room 106, 4801 Linwood Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64128. There has been no previous solicitation posted for this requirement. Qualified vendors must thoroughly review the attached solicitation with specs and drawing and provide a detailed response by the solicitation response date and must be registered in the SAM data base. All qualified vendors must provide a complete response to each solicitation technical evaluation factor and priced line items as requested. Proposal will be posted on or about June 30, 2016.
