Description

Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation to provide mechanical washing, packaging, and sterilization services of instruments off-site to the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System (VAAAHS), 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105 for a period of 90 days. The VAAAHS will provide the contractor an average of 25 containers/trays, 8 Blue Wraps, and 12 Peel Packs of cardiac surgery instruments to complete a mechanical wash, wrap/package and sterilization each day. This average is based on a five (5) day work week, with delivery and pick up five (5) times a week. The trays and instruments shall be processed and returned to the facility by the Contractor within 24 hours after pick up. This request for quotation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) website www.fbo.gov on or about June 23, 2016 and is due two weeks after being posted. The NAICS code for this requirement is 561210 with a small business size standard of $38.5 million.
