- This is amendment 0001 to Combined Synopsis/Solicitation W56ZTN-15-T-0004 for Oracle Database Enterprise Edition, Version 12C and related annual Software Update License (to include processors of spatial and graph), Quantity: 1 (to be installed on a server with 4 processors). The Synopsis/Solicitation reads as follows: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This requirement will be sent directly to the CHESS Contractors listed on the CHESS website with an Enterprise Service Initiative (ESI) for Oracle Software. A written solicitation will not be issued. Only CHESS contract holders will be considered. No responses received through this solicitation will be considered. Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) has a requirement for Oracle Database Enterprise Edition, Version 12c and related annual Software Update License and Support for one year, Quantity: 1 (to be installed on a server with 4 processors). The United States Army Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), MD 21005, intends to solicit a 1 year Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) delivery order under Army Computer Hardware Enterprise Software Solutions (CHESS). This action is intended as a competitive award, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (c) and 10 USC 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, for brand name software maintenance/support in use by Geographic Information System Team to provide maps and other critical information to the APG 911 Call center and the Emergency Operation Command Center. The proposed action is for the procurement of Oracle Database Enterprise Edition, Version 12c and related annual Software Update License and Support for 1 year. This procurement is a Request for Proposal (RFQ) under solicitation number W56ZTN-15-T-0004. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this acquisition is 511210. The posting date for this Synopsis is 20 June 2016 and the closing date for response is 23 June 2016. All responsible sources under CHESS may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
