- Deliniated area map Offered space must be located on no more than one (1) contiguous floor; and all space must be contiguous. First (1st) floor space is preferred; if space offered is on not on the first floor, a minimum of one passenger elevator and one freight elevator must be provided. The space shall not be located where access is obscured, difficult, or where multiple turns are required. Net usable square feet does not include areas such as stairs, elevators, mechanical and utility rooms, ducts, shafts, vestibules, public corridors and public toilets required by local code. The building must be able to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and meet certain security requirements as set forth in the Interagency Security Committee Standards and the Department of Justice Security Standards. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain. The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Thomasville, GA that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government, will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and nonproductive agency downtime.
