- **PLEASE READ: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED ON THE DATE IDENTIFIED BELOW** Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) requiring both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about June 22, 2016. Description: The intent for this contract is to secure services for chainsaw thinning and piling of brush, trees, and dead surface fuels; piles are to be covered. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies, lodging, and incidentals, to perform the work described in the contract. Location: All items are located on the Hat Creek Ranger District of the Lassen National Forest. The project area lies within a radius of two to three miles from Old Station, Ca. to the northeast. Price Range: $25,000.00 to $100,000.00 Set-Aside: This project is 100% set aside for Small Business Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than the date and time indicated on the solicitation. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. SAM is a consolidation of the former Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) databases.
