List of Audiovisual package items Audiovisual Remote Cameras and Components Package The 502d Contracting Squadron, JBSA- Ft Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the capabilities to meet the requirements and qualifications for the replacement of Audiovisual Mobile Production Equipment. Contractors/Institutions voluntarily responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. This sources sought is in conjunction with the pre-solicitation notice with the number: TO BE DETERMINED. Responses to this Request For Information (RFI) will help guide the strategy of how this requirement is procured in regards to the small business category. INSTRUCTIONS: 1. The following pages contain a description of the requirement and a Contractor Capability Survey. The requirement description is an excerpt from the draft Statement of Need (SON). This survey allows contractors to provide their company's capability for this requirement. 2. If, after reviewing these documents, you voluntarily desire to participate in the market research, please provide documentation supporting your company's capability in meeting the requirements. 3. Service disabled veteran owned, veteran owned, woman owned, women owned economically disadvantaged, and 8(a) small businesses are encouraged to participate in this Market Research. Audiovisual Remote Cameras and Components Package MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS /SPECIFICATIONS/ SALIENT CAHRACTERISTICS: The draft document is intended to provide a general description of this requirement. The final SON will be provided with the official solicitation. A camera that is capable of shooting documentaries, reality TV, commercial and corporate applications. A flexible 4K camera system that features a Super 35mm size sensor that allows you to capture images with cinematic depth of field. A camera that allows you to use E-mount lenses or with the use of optional adapters to accept most 35mm lenses including PL. The camera can capture footage to optional on-board media cards in either DCI (4096 x 2160), UHD (3840 x 2160) at up to 60 FPS or HD at up to 180 FPS. All accessories and components contained in the package are dependent on the camera containing these specific features listed here and below and are necessary for the full functionality of these cameras and their purpose to fulfill mission requirements. The 4k video camcorders and all components are essential to the audiovisual production mission. Used or remanufactured equipment will not be considered for award. In conjunction with our mission requirements, the 4k video camcorders will be used to document a variety of sources; changes of command, mock surgeries, in-field training, outdoors, indoors, moving, and locked down. The cameras should be no larger than 6.14 x 9.41 x 9.72" and weigh a minimum of 5lbs and a maximum of 12lbs for hand-held portability and shooting stability. The sensor size required is a 35mm film/ full-frame digital sensor that is a single-chip CMOS with 14 stops of latitude. The shooting formats required are 4k 4096x2160 12-bit RAW; UHD 3840x2160 10-bit 4:2:2 XAVC-I, 8-bit 4:2:0 XAVC-L; 2k 2048x1080 12-bit RAW; HD 1920x1080 10-bit 4:2:2 XAVX-I, 10 bit 4:2:2 XAVC-L, MPEG2 4:2:2; HD 1280x720 MPEG2 4:2:2. Slow and quick motion functions are required at 1-60 frames (59.94p, 50p, 29.97p, 23.98p, 25p), 1 to 180 frames (59.94p, 29.97p, 23.98p), 1920 x 1080: 1 to 120 frames (59.94p, 50p, 29.97p, 23.98p, 25p), the camera should also include a supersonic wave motor (SSM) 28-135mm f/4 G OSS lens for the proper framing of objects near and far, quiet zoom, and smooth iris control. Optical image stabilization to minimize the appearance of camera shake by up to four shutter speed steps to benefit shooting handheld in dim lighting and increase zoom magnifications **The attached is a list of items are to be included in the Audiovisual Remote Cameras and Components Package CONTRACTOR CAPABILITY SURVEY Audiovisual Remote Cameras and Components Package Part I.
