Description

This synopsis is a modification to the archived sole source synopsis issued for RFQ N00189-16-T-Z125. RFQ N00189-16-TZ196 now replaces N00189-16-T-Z125. This requirement is set aside 100% for Women Owned Small Business WOSB under the Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program on a sole source basis per FAR 13.501(a) and FAR 19.1506(b). The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Contracting Office intends to procure professional calibration services for the C-40 Aircraft Support Equipment (SE) for one base year and four option years. This requirement is in support of the Navy Forces Reserve NAS JRB, Fort Worth TX. This procurement is a sole source acquisition with Calibration Specialty, Inc., Irving TX under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A firm fixed price contact will be awarded as a result of this quotation. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Commercial type clauses in FAR Part 12 will be included in the RFQ, and a shorter solicitation period will be implemented per FAR 5.203(c). Central Contractor Registration is required for all vendors doing business with DOD and can be obtained at www.SAM.gov.
