SOURCES SOUGHT This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size relative to NACIS 621999. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses are not considered responses to any potential solicitation announcement. (DRAFT) STATEMENT OF WORK Pharmacy Services The Contractor shall furnish pharmacy benefit management (Emergency Pharmacy Fill and After Hours) services to eligible veterans' beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) from the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (hereafter referred to as CAVHS) utilizing the community based outpatient clinics(CBOCs) located in Conway, El Dorado, Hot Springs, Mena, Mountain Home, Pine Bluff, Russellville, and Searcy, Arkansas. Services shall include filling prescriptions, dispensing prescriptions, and counseling patients on all controlled and non-controlled prescriptions written by VA providers. 1.The Contractor shall provide pharmaceutical benefits management, products and services to VA beneficiaries for eight (8) CBOCs, handicapped-accessible, and which have the most accessible weekday, weeknight, weekend and holiday operating hours. The location for these sites is as follows: CAVHS - Conway CBOC - 1520 East Dave Ward Drive, Conway, Arkansas 72032 CAVHS - El Dorado CBOC - 460 West Oak, El Dorado, Arkansas 71730 CAVHS - Hot Springs CBOC - 1661 Airport Road Suite D, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71913 CAVHS - Mena CBOC - 1706 Hwy 71 North, Mena, Arkansas 71953 CAVHS - Mountain Home CBOC - 10 Medical Plaza Drive, Mountain Home, Arkansas 72653 CAVHS - Pine Bluff CBOC - 4747 Dusty Lake Drive Suite 203, Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71603 CAVHS - Russellville CBOC - 3106 West 2nd Court, Russellville, Arkansas 72801 CAVHS - Searcy CBOC - 1120 South Main Street, Searcy, Arkansas 72143 QUALIFICIATIONS: Pharmaceutical care provided to beneficiaries under this contract shall meet all standards applicable to Medicaid recipients in the State where the services are provided. Personnel assigned by the Contractor to perform the services covered by this contract shall be licensed in good standing without restrictions in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia. Offerors are required to verify all Federal, State, and/or local licenses and certification(s) applicable to the provision of Pharmacy Services. All Pharmacies state licenses and Proof of Liability Insurance must be in an active state, not be expired. The qualifications of contractor personnel shall be subject to a review by the CAVHS Chief of Pharmacy and the CAVHS Chief of Staff. Contractor shall provide evidence of all employed Pharmacists, confirming that each Pharmacist has a current valid state license for that servicing pharmacy location. I.Deliveries or Performance (Base plus four option years) Period of Performance: Base Period: July 1, 2016- June 30, 2017 All interested firms shall provide the following information: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, capability statement, and business size pursuant to the NAICS code 621999. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to Darnell.Rias@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than Monday, June 27, 2016 at 10a.m. CST. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
